The Jai Vilas Palace in Gwalior, the residence of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, is a stunning example of architectural and royal splendor. Built in 1874 by Maharaja Jayaji Rao Scindia, this palace is a blend of Tuscan, Italian Doric, and Corinthian styles, designed by British architect Sir Michael Filose. The dining table boasts a solid silver train that served brandy and cigars to guests, emphasizing luxury. Food is served in gold and silver utensils, enhancing the royal dining experience.

The Darbar Hall features a 3,500-kg chandelier, with its ceiling tested for strength by 10 elephants before installation.
