The much-anticipated third installment of the Pushpa 3, starring Allu Arjun, has been officially confirmed. Producer Ravi Shankar Yerneni has revealed that Pushpa 3 is set for release in 2028.
Production Delays and Schedule
Due to prior commitments of both Allu Arjun and director Sukumar, production for Pushpa 3 will commence later than expected. Arjun is currently engaged with two major projects—one with director Atlee and another with Trivikram Srinivas. Meanwhile, Sukumar is directing a film featuring Ram Charan. These projects will keep the duo occupied for the next few years, pushing Pushpa 3’s timeline further.
Despite the delay, the makers have assured that the wait will not be as long as it was between Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa: The Rule. Once Arjun and Sukumar complete their respective projects, work on the third installment, titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage, will begin.

As reported by India Today, he revealed that director Sukumar has substantial content to continue the story. Originally planned as a single film, Pushpa evolved into multiple parts due to its compelling narrative. Sukumar has hinted at further developments, advising Faasil to be prepared for the next chapter.

While Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil are set to reprise their roles, speculation is rife about the film’s antagonist. Reports suggest that Vijay Deverakonda is a frontrunner for the role, potentially setting up a high-stakes clash between him and Allu Arjun. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding Deverakonda’s involvement.
A 2022 tweet from Deverakonda, where he expressed excitement about working with Sukumar, further fueled rumors. If the speculation proves true, Pushpa 3 could deliver an electrifying battle between two of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars.
