Religious places in Maharashtra to open from November 16

Maharashtra Government on November 14, 2020 announced that religious places like temples, dargah, gurudwara shall remain open from November 16.
Religious places shall be opened nearly after seven months. The Maharashtra state government issued standard operating measures for all religious places to follow. Also, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has warned of strict action those violating norms.
Guidelines for religious places :
Devotees are not allowed to touch the idols, holy books and offering of prasadam or holy Water to be distributed.
Devotees are asked to bring their own praying mats or clothes to pray on.
Singing in groups and live choirs are not allowed to hold public programs. Religious places are urged to play pre recorded devotional songs.
Citizens above 60 years and children below 10 years will.not be allowed. Also those with any sort of comorbidities shall not be granted permission to visit the places. Also all Covid19 related health and hygiene should be followed.
As per guidelines issued by the state government the staffers at religious places should undergo Covid19 tests before resuming work. Highly exposed people are recommended to undergo tests weekly. If a Covid-19 patient is detected on the religious places premise, there should be necessarily a room to isolate him or her and the nearest health care facility should be contacted.
