Robbers steal valuables worth over Rs 10 lakh from techie’s house in LohegaonBy: Pune PulseNovember 4, 2023Pune: In a recent incident of burglary, valuables worth more than Rs 10 Lakh were stolen from an IT professional’s house in Lohegaon.Speaking to Pune Pulse, Anandrao Khobre, Police Inspector, Vimantal Police Station, said, “The incident of burglary & house break took place around October 31 in Shivraj Colony in Lohegaon.
The IT professional & his wife went to their native place and their house was locked. They received a call from their neighbour about the robbery after which they immediately came back to their house. Several ornaments & valuables were found to be stolen.”As per further information, three men entered the victim’s property from a farm field behind the row house and jumped over the back wall of the compound.
After arriving at the front portion of the house, they used sharp weapons to break the locks on the main door and the security gate. After breaking into a wooden cupboard on the first floor and taking a jewellery-filled bag, the robbers fled from the back.A case has been registered at the Vimantal Police Station. Further investigation is going on.
