Diwali Saranjam Vatap 2023’ program to be held in Balewadi tomorrow

Pune: A distribution program of Diwali Faral (snacks) and Diwali-related items to poor families called ‘Diwali Saranjam Vatap 2023’ is organized by former corporator Amol Balwadkar in Balewadi.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Balwadkar, ex-corporator, Baner-Balewadi-Pashan said, “Several things related to the Diwali will be distributed amongst 15 thousand poor families such as powdered sugar, Rava, Maida, Oil, Pohe, Ubtan, Soaps, Incense Sticks etc. From 11 a.m. on Sunday ( November 5), the opening ceremony of the program will be at the hands of Hon Chandrakant Patil after which, till 5 p.m. distribution of several Diwali related things will be done to 15,000 families.”

As per further information, several notable personalities will grace the program. The chief guests are Chandrakant Patil, Minister of Higher and Technical Education and Parliamentary Affairs, Maharashtra, Murlidhar Mohol, General Secretary, BJP Maharashtra State, Dheeraj Ghate, BJP Pune City President, Rajesh Pandey, Vice President, BJP Maharashtra State.

The conveners of the program are Amol Balwadkar, former Corporator, Pune Municipal Corporation, Jyoti Kalamkar, Former Corporator, Pune Municipal Corporation, Swapnali Saikar, Former Corporator, Pune Municipal Corporation, Sachin Pashankar, President, BJP Kothrud Assembly Constituency & the entire Bharatiya Janata Party, Kothrud Assembly Constituency

The distribution program is organized on November 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Balewadi High Street Maidan, Balewadi.
