Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s iconic Galaxy apartment is undergoing significant security upgrades. The residence now features advanced safety measures, including a large bulletproof window installed on the balcony—a spot from where Salman often greets his fans. This development has sparked widespread attention and is trending on social media.
In addition to the bulletproof window, high-resolution CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor unusual activities around the premises. These upgrades follow repeated death threats received by the actor, most notably from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
In April 2024, an alarming incident occurred when two individuals on motorbikes opened fire outside the Galaxy apartment. This prompted Salman to take stringent steps to enhance his security. Apart from fortifying his residence, he has also upgraded his travel arrangements, including the purchase of a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV from Dubai in October 2024. The vehicle is equipped with reinforced glass, explosive alert indicators, and other advanced safety features.
Reports also suggest that Panvel police uncovered a plot targeting the actor, further intensifying the need for these precautions. The threats are reportedly tied to the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case, where Salman Khan was accused of killing the sacred animal revered by the Bishnoi community. Members of the community have urged the actor to issue a public apology.
