In an Another incident 29-Year-Old IIM-Bangalore Student Found Dead on Campus

In a separate incident, a 29-year-old Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) student was found dead on the hostel premises early Sunday morning, just hours after celebrating his birthday with friends.

Nilay Kailashbhai Patel, a second-year Post-Graduate Programme student from Gujarat, had recently secured a job at a fashion e-commerce firm and was set to start his new role on Monday. His sudden death has left the IIM-B community in shock, The Times of India reported.

Security personnel discovered Patel unconscious on the hostel lawn at around 6:30 am. A medical team was called immediately, but he was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest he may have accidentally fallen from the second floor of the hostel building while heading to his room late at night.

Police found no evidence pointing to suicide, and Patel’s friends stated that he had not shown any signs of distress. The investigation into the tragic incident is ongoing.
