Saraswati pooja held in Godrej Prana
Republic day celebrations and Basant Panchami puja were celebrated with great pomp and reverence. Both the events saw a great turnout of more than 200 residents who happily participated in everything.
The day started with the unfurling of the Tricolour by senior citizens, followed by a traditional Saraswati Pooja done by a priest. There was a colourful flea market organised which offered a variety of products and services to the residents.
On the occasion of Saraswati Pooja, the Committee had also invited “Pustakwale” to set up their mobile library to promote the habit of reading and impart education in the young minds.
The evening saw an overwhelming response to the aarti and cultural programmes. The little ones of Prana added a lot of energy to the entire event!
Sanghamitra Karmakar said that the pooja was done by her alongwith Nanda Kishore & Vijaya Kishore.
