Nyati Esteban Singers Club is a platform in Undri’s Nyati County area where amateur singers get to perform without being judged. The initiative has been taken by Nyati Esteban society comprising 300 flats.
The society was formed just a year ago and so far has had three singers club events since November 2022.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Sanjiv Chimnani, a resident of the society shared that it was his idea to start a singing club in the society to keep depression away and bind people together. He was the pioneer to start a similar singers club in Khar Gymkhana, Mumbai.

He further shared, “There is an artist in every human being. We must acknowledge these skills and provide them a platform. We all know music brings people together. That’s why this club was initiated. It is held on every first Saturday of the month. Presently, we have around 20 singers. Our target is to have at least 40 singers in the club by the end of 2023.”

Sanjiv further stated that he is thankful to the society as it has been cooperative and extends help in giving them the sound equipment, lawn area, etc. Meeta Lee, Col Raghavendra Sharma, Suresh Bhirwandekar and Naveen Toshan have contributed in  establishing the club.

The upcoming Singers Club Karaoke Night will be held on February 4 and with the theme of Love, since 14 th February is celebrated as Valentine’s Day.

“Every month we have a theme. We perform Karaoke. The members of the club are aiming that this club will become so popular that one day we would perform in an orchestra,” concluded Sanjiv.
