Several Pune-Mumbai trains cancelled due to signalling work

PUNE: Several train services will be canceled due to important signaling work on the Lonavala-Pune rail route. On Sunday, August 20th, the following trains will be affected: Intercity Express 12127/12128 Pune-Mumbai-Pune, Deccan Express 11007/11008 Pune-Mumbai-Pune, Pragati Express 12125/12126 Pune-Mumbai-Pune, and Koyna Express 11029/11030 Mumbai-Kolhapur-Mumbai.

As per the information provided, local train services between Pune and Talegaon, as well as Pune and Lonavala, will also be impacted. The 01584 and 01586 locals departing from Pune to Talegaon at 06:48 and 08:53 respectively, and the 01558, 01562, 01564, 01566, and 01568 locals departing from Pune to Lonavala at different times, will be cancelled.

Trains going from Shivajinagar to Talegaon and Lonavala, as well as trains from Lonavala to Pune and other places, will have interruptions. Train 12939 Pune-Jaipur Express will now depart from Pune at 17:45 instead of 17:30, and train 22943 Daund-Indore Express will leave Daund at 18:00 instead of 14:00.

Furthermore, the following Sunday, August 20th, the 22159 Mumbai-Chennai Express, 17222 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Kakinda Port Express, 11019 Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Express, 22732 Mumbai-Hyderabad Express, 11302 Bangalore-Mumbai Express, and 22194 Gwalior-Daund Express will also experience disruptions due to signal work between Chinchwad and Khadki stations in the Pune Division.
