Shivsena holds protest in Kondhwa
Shivsainiks from Kondhwa today held a protest against the incomplete road work in Bhagyodaya Nagar and Shivneri Nagar and overhead water tank causing severe inconvenience to the local citizens in Kondhwa and threatened that the work should complete by February 1.
Mahadev Babar, former MLA Hadapsar Constituency said that the work for drainage line and water pipeline work is incomplete for the last three months. This is causing severe issues to the public as well as to the shopkeepers who are missing out on their income. Also, the water tank work is pending since 2014. The residents of the area are suffering because of the apathy shown by the municipal corporation.

Prasad Mahadev Babar, president, Aai Pratishthan told Pune Pulse that the road work for the main road going towards Bhagyodaya Nagar and Shivneri Nagar is incomplete which inconveniences the citizens. Why is there so much delay in the work ? The work for construction of overhead water tank in the area is also lying incomplete for the past 8 years.
‘ The incomplete work of the overhead water tank is making citizens depend on tanker water making them to shell out more money. Areas such as Bhagyodaya Nagar, Shivneri Nagar, Lulla Nagar, Jyoti hotel chowk are the most affected areas due to lack of water. If the work is not completed by February 1 we shall protest in Shivsena style, ‘ added Prasad Babar.
