The Mumbai Police nabbed Sukkha, who is a suspect in the shooting incident at Salman Khan’s house, from Panipat Sector 29 with the help of the local police. Sukkha hails from Rail Kalan village. He will be presented in court on Thursday after being taken to Navi Mumbai, as per the police.

Back in June, the police claimed they had discovered a plan to attack Salman Khan while he was on his way to his farmhouse near Panvel in Navi Mumbai. This revelation came after a shooting incident outside his residence in Bandra, Mumbai in April 2024.

Salman Khan had informed the police earlier this year that he suspected the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was responsible for the shooting at his house, aiming to harm him and his family members, as reported by news agency ANI.

The actor’s statement is included in the charge sheet filed by the Mumbai Police in court regarding the incident.

In January 2024, two unknown individuals attempted to enter his farmhouse near Panvel using false identities, as mentioned by the actor.

Back in 2022, a threatening letter was discovered on a bench across from his building, and in March 2023, they received an email threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Salman Khan informed the police.

As per the police, the Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra gangs had deployed approximately 60 to 70 members to surveil Salman Khan’s activities, conducting reconnaissance at his Bandra residence, Panvel farmhouse, and film shooting locations.

Upon receiving specific details about the plan to harm the Bollywood superstar, a case was filed against multiple individuals at Panvel Town police station on April 24.
