Somy Ali blasts Salman Khan over ‘8 one-night stands’, labels Bishnois as ‘Bollywood’s Dawood.
Former actress Somy Ali conducted an AMA session on Reddit, where she discussed her past relationship with Salman Khan and his ongoing issues with the Bishnoi community.
She revealed that she left Bollywood due to Salman’s “eight one-night stands” in the 1990s, stating, “I was tired of his one-night stands and the daily physical and verbal abuse.” Somy also mentioned that she left when her boyfriend introduced a new girl, which pushed her to finish her education. While she humorously reflected on her youth, she noted that despite receiving multiple offers in Bollywood, her ex allegedly blocked her from projects out of fear she would expose his true character.
Somy admitted her initial goal in entering Bollywood was to express her crush on Salman, not to pursue acting.
“Well, I didn’t go there to act. I went because of a stupid teenage crush, which is why they say you should meet your idols in real life. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I think Ted Bundy had better manners than Salman,” she remarked.
Somy also made some sensitive comments regarding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, stating, “Sushant Singh Rajput did not die by suicide; in fact, he was murdered. We still don’t know what happened with Jiah Khan, as she was pregnant and found hanging from a ceiling fan, and Suraj Pancholi went to Salman for advice, which ultimately led to Jiah’s death.”
While she had previously supported Salman during his conflict with the Bishnoi community, she addressed the ongoing rift again, calling the Bishnois the new “Dawood and Chota Shakeel of Bollywood.” Despite her strong opinions, she emphasized that she does not wish harm upon Salman. “I am against the death penalty and murder, whether it’s Salman or a stranger on the street. I do not care for Salman; in fact, I can’t stand him, but I do not want him murdered as I am a pacifist and a follower of Gandhi.”
Somy Ali had earlier posted a note on Instagram directed at Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster currently imprisoned in Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail, inviting him to communicate via Zoom, suggesting it could be beneficial for him.
She mentioned wanting to visit Rajasthan, home to Bishnoi’s temple.
In related news, Navi Mumbai police arrested Sukha, an associate of Bishnoi, for allegedly planning an attack on Khan. This arrest occurred in Panipat, Haryana, where he is accused of arranging a hit on Khan through the Bishnoi gang.
