Pune: Special camps will be organized in 214 Cantonment Assembly constituencies on weekends November 4 and 5 and November 25 and 26 under the special brief revision programme of electoral rolls.
As part of the ongoing special brief revision programme of electoral rolls, special camps will be held on the weekends of November 4 and 5, as well as November 25 and 26, in 214 Cantonment Assembly constituencies. These camps will provide citizens with the opportunity to correct or delete claims and objections, register as new voters, and update their details in the voter list based on the qualifying date of January 1, 2024. The programme will continue until December 9, and applications are currently being accepted.
Polling Station Level Officers (BLOs) will be available at each polling station in Pune Cantonment constituency on November 4 and 5, as well as November 25 and 26. It is highly encouraged that an increasing number of citizens participate in this event to ensure their voter registration or correction is completed.
During this exclusive camp, registration will also be open for new voters, women, differently-abled individuals, homeless individuals, and transgender voters from nomadic tribes. Siddharth Bhandare, the voter registration officer of Pune Cantonment Assembly constituency, earnestly urges the citizens of the constituency to make the most of these programs.
