Speeding Truck Hits Multiple Vehicles at Khadi Machine chowk ; 1 dead and several injured
In a shocking & horrifying incident, a truck collided fiercely with many vehicles on Katraj Kondhwa Khadi Machine chowk on 10th August.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Eijazkhan Shiledar, Assistant Police Inspector, Kondhwa Traffic Division, said “On 10th August, at around 8:30 am, a truck, coming with high speed, hit several vehicles fiercely on Khadi Machine chowk. There was a school bus as well among these vehicles. The traffic due to this accident on Katraj Kondhwa Road slowed down for a while. But we are ensuring that the congestion is cleared soon.”
As per information from Eijazkhan Shiledar, the truck hit 8 to 9 vehicles in which four wheelers, tempos & a school bus were involved.
One person is died on the spot while 5 people have been injured. They have been taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The truck driver sped away after the incident. The police has got the registration number of the truck from the number plate & an investigation has been launched.
