SPPU-affiliated colleges in Pune, Ahmednagar, and Nashik to commence from June 20

The academic schedule for Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) for the 2024–2025 academic year has been released. As per the notification, on June 20, 2024, the affiliated Arts, Commerce and Science Colleges in Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik will start conducting classes. The Diwali holidays in 2024 will fall between October 21 and November 18 roughly.

The university’s academic schedule has been disrupted for three years post-Covid, but senior officials believe the summer session exams will be conducted on time this year. The university has announced the academic schedule for Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Humanities, and Interfaculty departments. Most courses, except for professional ones, will start on June 20, with Pharmacy and Architecture courses starting by July 1. The next summer session is planned for December, with exams conducted in April-May 2025.

The deadline for submitting online application forms for various degree programs, diploma courses, and the Online Entrance Examination (OEE) of SPPU is May 20, 11:59 pm.
