Rao mentioned that he has had a friendship with Rajamouli for 34 years, which became strained when they both developed feelings for the same woman. In his video, he expressed, “I have no option but to die by suicide. Rajamouli is the reason I am still single at 55.” He explained that he chose to step back from pursuing the relationship to preserve their friendship, but later felt betrayed by Rajamouli.
Rao also claimed that they worked together until the film “Yamadonga” in 2007, but he believes Rajamouli ruined his career over this personal conflict. He alleged that after Rajamouli achieved fame, he began to question Rao’s loyalty and subjected him to ongoing harassment. “I am 55 now and I can no longer endure this harassment,” he stated in the video.
Srinivasa Rao even called for authorities to conduct a “lie detector test” on SS Rajamouli, claiming that the director used “black magic” to undermine his rivals in the industry. In his video, he appealed to the police, saying, “I request the police officials to inquire into this matter and do justice to me.”
