The Pune police’s three-day “Tarang 2023” citizen-outreach event has a plethora of activities planned for attendees, especially students, to give them a first-hand look at how different police departments operate, from fingerprint detection to handwriting matching.

The festival, which started on Friday, also features an exhibition featuring a number of food vendors and textile booths, among other things.

According to state criminal investigation department (CID) officials, people were curious about how different cases were solved. A fingerprint expert told stories about cases that were solved with the help of the finger printing technique while he demonstrated it.

According to a resident of Hinjawadi, he is a supporter of entrepreneurs and thinks that these kinds of platforms enable them to exhibit their work. He has made multiple purchases from here and was happy to see new suppliers in place of the same large retailers. Numerous young people should be supported for their efforts to sell high-quality goods.

Many people were interested in how the unit had changed since its founding, including the addition of the wireless department, police cars, and other technologies.

The techniques for performing rescue operations on land, in the air, and in the sea were demonstrated by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). People claimed that it enthralled both adults and students.

On the first day of the event, which was attended by numerous student groups from various Pune schools, there was a dog show, police band performances, dance performances, dhol-tasha performances, etc.
