ACWADAM and Bhujal Abhiyan Organize Grand Painting Competition for World Water Day Awareness

In celebration of World Water Day on March 22, ACWADAM and Bhujal Abhiyan are hosting a significant painting competition aimed at raising awareness about groundwater among the citizens of Pimpri-Chinchwad. 

This grand event, scheduled for March, invites participants from various age groups, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the vital resource beneath our feet.

The competition will be categorized into three groups: 

a) Class 7th to 10th

b) All College Students, and 

c) Open Group (No Age Restriction). 

Participants are encouraged to choose from a selection of themes that highlight crucial aspects of groundwater:

Competition topics

1. Ground water 

2. Ground water extraction 

3. Ground water pollution

4. Groundwater and Hills / River / Forest

5. Ground Water and Environment and 

6. Groundwater and (cultural) heritage

To enter the competition, participants need to create a drawing on any of the specified themes on A3 size paper and submit a photo or scan copy on the provided QR Code or click on the link given below:

Notably, there is no entry fee for participation, allowing widespread engagement in this awareness-building initiative.

Winners of the competition will receive attractive prizes, motivating participants to express their creativity and contribute to the cause of groundwater awareness. Additionally, some incentive prizes will be awarded to recognize outstanding efforts.

The submission deadline for this grand painting competition is March 10, 2024, providing participants ample time to contribute their artistic expressions towards the cause of safeguarding our precious water resources.
