100 Years of Valour: Join the Poonawalla Fincorp Bombay Sappers War Memorial Centenary Marathon in 2024

Pune : In celebration of the Bombay Sappers War Memorial’s remarkable 100-year legacy, Fitistan-Ek Fit Bharat proudly presents a marathon that grants participants an exclusive opportunity to traverse the historic BEG Centre Dighi Hills in Pune. Set against the backdrop of the lush Dighi hills and Gurnam Lake, runners will tread on soft ground alongside soldiers, making this event truly unique.

Taking place on the soft trails within BEG Centre Dighi Hills, the marathon offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to run in the footsteps of soldiers. The routes for the half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km races wind through the scenic Gurnam Lake and forest trails near BEG Centre, providing a picturesque and challenging experience.

Differing from typical road jogging, the soft trail minimizes strain on knee and ankle joints, a feature not commonly found in the urban areas of Pune or Mumbai.
