Taste Atlas highlighted popular dishes from Maharashtra, including misal pav, aamras, shrikhand, and pav bhaji.
The rankings underscore the rich variety and diversity of Indian cuisine on the global stage, despite the fact that Indian food was ranked 12th in Taste Atlas’ “100 Best Cuisines in the World.” While it may not have secured a position in the top 10, this recognition reflects the widespread appreciation for India’s multifaceted culinary heritage around the globe.
Taste Atlas has indicated that the rankings derive from a total of 477,287 valid ratings across 15,478 foods within its database. The regions included in the list have been organized based on the highest average scores they have achieved.
