Members of the Lions Club of Pune Bibvewadi are true heroes who help everyone who needs little help to smile again and stand confident.
Lions Club of Pune Bibvewadi felicitated 15 police officers from Solapur Bazar Police Chowky, including Police Insepector Ajay Kumar Rathod who alongwith with his team has worked day and night in the last few months. The exemplary work needed appreciation to boost the morale of the Police personnel as the fight against the Corona virus is still on.
The members also appreciated the work of the medical shop owners who have braved the pandemic with so much determination and strength. Medical shop owners Anand medical from Timber market, Chandan medical from Bhawani peth, as well as Dr. Mahendra Oswal, Camp for their fruitful services at the time of lockdown. Nearly 180 Corona Warriors were felicitated by the LIONS CLUB OF PUNE BIBVEWADI at Pune Cantonment Board’s Sardar Vallabh bhai patel hospital near Golibaar maidan.
Giving more details of the program, a member said, “We, the members of Lions Club of Pune Bibvewadi are always ahead in social cause. We believe in giving back to society. We would like to have more likeminded people who are ready to offer their services to people.”
The members also felicitated Pune cantonment hospital Dr. Gaikwad and other 155 staff including doctors, nurses, Nursing staff, lab technicians, ambulance driver and cleaning staff.The LIONS CLUB OF PUNE BIBEWADI ,Under the Presidentship of Lion Dhiraj Parmar, secretary Lion Lalit Kavediya and treasure Lion Sunny Jain and Active club members, Lion GOVIND Chauhan, Lion Rajendra Purohit, Lion Gautam Jain, Lion Mahendra Oswal, Lion Kiran Chopra, Lion Vijay Rathi, LION Sumeet Desarda, Lady lion Manisha Oswal, Lady lion Meena Kavediya, Lady lion Swati Desarda, Lady lion Jaya Bhumavat are some of the few warriors who made this event successful. Further the members also presented certificate of appreciation to 15 Food and Drugs Authority officials and their staff by the hands of Lion Bharat Bhumavat, Lion Ajit Chauhan and Lion Vijay Rathi.
