Trains To Remain Affected Due to Track Doubling Work between Nira & Lonand

Pune: A traffic block will be taken between Nira-Lonand station on the Pune-Satara railway line in Pune division to connect the existing down main railway line with the newly constructed railway line and other important works.
As per information from a press note shared by Dr Ramdas Bhise, Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) And PRO, Pune Railway, “Due to this work, train no 11425 Pune – Kolhapur DEMU Express will leave from Satara to Kolhapur instead of Pune on Sunday, August 20 and train no 11426 Kolhapur – Pune DEMU Express departing from Kolhapur for Pune will end at Satara. That means this train will remain cancelled between Pune – Satara – Pune.”
He further informed, “Train no 22686 Chandigarh – Yesvantpur Express departing from Chandigarh on Saturday, August 19 will be operating on a modified route of Daund – Kurduwadi – Miraj. And will not come to Pune. Similarly, train no 16506 Bangalore – Gandhidham Express leaving Bangalore on Saturday, August 19 will be slightly delayed between Miraj – Lonand.”
