Tree plantation drive held in Wanowrie
A mega tree plantation drive was held in Wanowrie’s forest area near Naren Hills – Anandvan 3 on the occasion of ex chief minister of Maharashtra and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Devendra Fadnavis’s birthday on July 22.
The tree plantation drive saw presence of Shyam Thakur, Kunal Hemrajani Bharatiya Janata Party Sindhi Cell and other residents. The programme was organised by Pune Municipal Corporator Prabhag 25 Wanowrie Ramtekdi Corporators Kalinda Punde and Dhanraj Ghogare. MLA Pune Cantonment Assembly Sunil Kamble was also present for the drive. The tree plantation drive was organised by Pune Cantonment Legislative Assembly Constituency president Mahesh Punde, Vivek Shinde and saw presence of Umesh Shinde, Manisha Giramkar, Surekha Gaikwad, Aruna Shinde, Dipti Sethiya, Dipti Patole, Ganesh Jadhav and Sandeep Shinde.
