Pune Mumbai Expressway to remain shut for heavy vehicles towards MumbaiÂ
Installation of gantry will take place on 21st December (Thursday) at Km 10.750 (Amity University) and Km 29.200 (between Madap Tunnel and Khalapur Toll Plaza) on Pune Channel under Highway Traffic Management System on Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
Hence, on 21st December afternoon, there will be traffic block on the aforementioned routes on Mumbai-Pune Expressway from 12 pm to 2 pm.
As per further information, the MSRDC has informed that all types of vehicular traffic (light and heavy vehicles) will be completely closed during this period.
Motorists can travel by alternative route. Light vehicles going from Mumbai to Pune will be diverted from Shedung Fata Km 8.200 and routed from NH4 Old Mumbai-Pune Highway to Shingroba Ghat at Magic Point Km 42.000 and re-routed to Pune Channel on Expressway.
