The meteorological department has predicted chances of rainfall in northern Maharashtra, western Maharashtra, and Marathwada, prompting heightened awareness and preparedness. While the northwest region of India is expected to maintain relatively stable maximum temperatures over the next 24 hours, local authorities are urging everyone to stay informed and take necessary precautions as unusual weather patterns emerge.
The weather department is also forecasting a rise in temperatures over the next three days, with central India and Maharashtra likely to see minimum temperatures increase by around 3 degrees Celsius. This shift indicates a gradual easing of the cold and a rise in warmth, leaving many wondering how these changes will impact daily life and activities.
While the chill in Maharashtra has lessened, fog is still an issue. Some areas are experiencing partly cloudy skies, which have notably impacted fruit crops and agriculture. In North Maharashtra and Marathwada, these cloudy conditions are anticipated to contribute to a temperature rise. There’s also a chance of occasional rainfall in certain parts of Marathwada, prompting alerts for farmers in the region.
Adding to the weather dynamics, a cyclonic circulation has formed in the southeast Arabian Sea, further influencing Maharashtra’s weather. The Pune Meteorological Department has indicated a possibility of light rain today in West Maharashtra, Marathwada, and North Maharashtra.

In North India, winds are currently blowing at a speed of 110 knots, with strong winds also coming from the west. These western winds are causing variations in the cold temperatures. At present, there is an unusual situation with alternating cold and warmth. Some areas in Vidarbha are expected to experience unseasonal rain tomorrow.
