The official announcement indicates that the Personality Tests (Interviews) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 are set to begin on January 7, 2025, and will run through April 17, 2025.

The Commission has announced that e-summon letters for the interviews will be available shortly. Candidates will have the opportunity to download these letters from the UPSC website. It is essential to understand that requests for changing interview dates or times will generally not be accommodated.

Candidates who do not submit the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) by the designated deadline will have their applications disqualified, and e-summon letters will not be distributed. This decision aligns with the previous notification issued on December 9, 2024.

To assist candidates participating in the interviews, UPSC will cover travel expenses limited to Second/Sleeper Class train fares (Mail/Express).

Those choosing alternative modes or classes of travel are required to follow the Commission’s travel regulations and provide the necessary documentation, which includes original tickets and a completed TA form that can be found on the UPSC website.
