Vaccination for 18 – 44 yrs to be held at two centers in Pune on May 1

As per the guidelines issue by the Maharashtra state government, the Pune Municipal Corporation shall begin the vaccination against Covid19 program from May 1, 2021 in the Pune city.

This program shall be held only at two vaccination centers at present. Kamla Nehru Hospital in Mangalwar Peth and Rajiv Gandhi hospital in Yerwada are the centers where vaccination program shall be held for between above 18 – 44 years between 11 am to 4 pm. Only 350 beneficiaries shall be administered the vaccine tomorrow. Only those who are able to log in after the site is opened and those who have selected these locations shall get the vaccine.

The beneficiaries will get the vaccine who are registered on the COWIN website. Walk ins shall not be entertained at these centers.

All the other vaccination centers run by Pune Municipal Corporation administering vaccines to people above 45 year of age shall remain closed for the next two days (Saturday and Sunday) due to unavailability of vaccine doses. If on Monday, May 3, 2021 these CVC’s receive doses, then the vaccination at other centers shall resume.
