Vedanta society provides insurance cover to it’s society staff
After setting up isolation facility with oxygen, Vedanta society in Wakad took another step by providing insurance facility to it’s housekeeping staff.
This staff has been working for the isolation facility and hence to help them safeguard themselves, the managing Committee decided to provide them an insurance cover of Rs 1,00,000 each.
“It is a small token of gratitude to these Vedanta Heroes, we have taken COVID insurance policy for 12 such heroes including security staff, housekeeping staff Pump operator, Gardener and society manager. The sum insured per head is INR 1,00,000. This has given them the confidence that we care for them as our extended family. This sum will act as a required financial cushion should they need any medical help and reduce their financial burden to an extent. Protecting those Who Protect Us Selflessly, these employees are from poor family background, said Dr. Somnath Dhonde Chairman Vedanta Society.
