Actors Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor were recently spotted returning to Mumbai following the completion of a filming schedule for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated project Love and War. The film, which also stars Alia Bhatt in a leading role, has been in production in Rajasthan for several weeks. Upon arrival at the Mumbai airport, both actors were seen sharing a warm moment, further reflecting the camaraderie built during their time on set.

A video from their flight has since gone viral on social media, offering a glimpse of their down-to-earth personalities. In the clip, Ranbir Kapoor is seen boarding an Indigo flight and recognising a crew member onboard. He stops briefly and, with a mix of surprise and familiarity, asks the crew member, “What brings you here?” To which the crew member replies that he is scheduled to shoot for a film.

The video then shows Vicky Kaushal entering the aircraft’s economy section and greeting the same crew member warmly. He can be heard saying, “How are you sir? Love the teaser.” Although he doesn’t specify which teaser he is referring to, fans have speculated that it might be for Love and War.

The fact that both actors chose to travel in economy class has also sparked admiration online. One fan remarked on social media, “#RanbirKapoor was traveling in economy class.” Another fan, posting on Reddit, noted, “Indigo doesn’t offer business class – they just have a premium section upfront for celebrities.” A third user added, “They’re both so humble – you’d never guess they’re such big stars.”

Earlier, another clip capturing Ranbir and Vicky embracing at the Mumbai airport had gone viral. After their brief interaction, the two actors were seen parting ways, drawing attention to the close friendship that appears to have developed between them during filming.

Scheduled for a March release next year, Love and War marks a departure from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s signature historical dramas. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the acclaimed filmmaker had said, “This is a project that excites me deeply. It’s unique and unlike my past films – no ancient sets, no elaborate costumes, no horses. It’s contemporary, and the music takes a new direction. I’m thoroughly enjoying the process, especially working with such exceptional actors.”
