The Prime Minister essentially kicked off the eagerly anticipated Jalandhar-Delhi Vande Bharat train in December of last year.

On January 6 of this year, Punjab’s first Vande Bharat began offering regular service (six days a week), facilitating smooth transportation between the cities.

The government of India’s citizen engagement platform, “My Gov India,” has now shared a firsthand passenger experience of the recently launched semi-high-speed train in an X post.

As per further information from the X handle of MyGovIndia “Experience the journey firsthand! Join a passenger’s firsthand account of the newly started Jalandhar to Delhi Vande Bharat Express.”

In the video posted by MyGovIndia, the passenger can be seen sharing his experience of the food served in Vande Bharat Express, the overall facilities & amenities, plus and minus points and more.

The train travels 448 km in an astonishingly short amount of time—four hours and twenty minutes.

Regarding ticket prices, those taking the Vande Bharat Express from Jalandhar Cantt-Delhi will pay Rs 1095, which is marginally more than the Shatabdi Express.

There are 530 seats on the eight-coach Vande Bharat Express train, 44 of which are reserved for executives. The train stops in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Ambala for a mere two minutes each.
