VTP Builders receive stop work notice from PMRDA

Intense blast at Sus construction site led to the action. The impact was such that many window panes of the flats as well cars were broken and walls developed cracks

Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) issued ‘stop work’ notice to VTP builders on Wednesday after a blast at a construction site of the project VTP Verve on Sus road yesterday. 


The blast damaged a car parked nearby and also the windows of an adjacent society. The residents filed a complaint af Hinjewadi police station.     “We have asked the developer to submit all the permission documents from competent authorities for mining. We will take appropriate action under MRTP Act immediately. As of now stop work notice has been issued,” said Suhas Divase, PMRDA Commissioner.


  “We are assessing the damages. Blasting impact was more. It was not a controlled blasting. We have filed an FIR about the incident. PMRDA will take action against the builder,” said Dr Vivek Mugalikar, PI Hinjewadi Police station. 
The builder remained unavailable for any comment
