Wakad Police Raid Spa in Pimple Saudagar, Rescue Two Women

In a significant operation, the Wakad police have exposed a sex racket operating covertly within a spa in the Pimple Saudagar area.
The police successfully rescued two women and apprehended one individual who is believed to be orchestrating the illicit operation. A formal case has been registered at the Wakad police station.
According to Ganesh Jawadwad, the Police Inspector at Wakad Police Station, the authorities received credible information regarding a prostitution ring operating discreetly within the premises of the RJ Spa, situated in the Pimple Saudagar locality’s Spot 18 Mall. Upon verifying the accuracy of the tip-off, a police team swiftly executed a raid, resulting in the rescue of two women. It was disclosed that the spa proprietors had ensnared the victims into engaging in prostitution, deceitfully disguising it as a means of payment.
The detained suspect has been charged under Section 370(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), along with Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. The police are actively pursuing further investigations into the matter.
