Watch: IndiGo Crew Member’s Surprise Reaction to Chennai Woman Doing Makeup Mid-Flight
A Chennai-based Instagram user named Shravya D shared a short video of her friendly chat with an IndiGo flight attendant while travelling to Hyderabad. What started as a simple service call became a touching moment of kindness and appreciation.
“We Forget to Notice the Little Things”
Sharing the clip on Instagram, Shravya wrote a thoughtful note about slowing down in life. “We often are in such a rush to live our lives that we forget to notice the little things, like talking to someone who cares for us on a flight,” she said. Shravya added that she “got a chance to see pretty @crew_fairy on my flight to HYD” and called her experience special.
Shravya spoke warmly of the flight attendant, Shambhavi Dwivedi, and the rest of the team. “She was so sweet and kind, and the entire crew of @indigo. He was super hardworking. Always remember to bring a smile on someone’s face, because you might just light up their day as well as yours,” Shravya wrote in her post. She ended her caption with, “Love works both ways . Always spread love, not hate
.”
A Friendly Chat in the Sky
In the video, Shravya is seen putting on makeup while seated on the plane. Shambhavi, surprised, stops to ask how she manages to “blend your make-up without looking into a mirror.” Shravya smiles and replies, “A lot of practice, I guess.”
Before this, when Shambhavi asked what she would like to drink, Shravya left the choice to her. The flight attendant happily suggested, “Buttermilk would go better,” and served it with a smile.

The lighthearted talk soon turned into a sweet exchange of compliments. Shravya told Shambhavi, “I think you know better. Your make-up is very pretty.” It was a simple but genuine moment that showed how even strangers can share kindness and brighten each other’s day.
Viewers Loved the Interaction
Social media users quickly filled the comments section with praise for the video. One user wrote, “It takes that small an effort to make someone smile.” Another added, “Girls admiring girls is the best thing.” Many loved seeing women supporting each other. “Girl-to-girl appreciation comes very rarely, and it’s so genuinely soothing to see,” a commenter said.
What could have been a routine in-flight service became a memory that touched many hearts. Shravya’s video and message reminded people to slow down and notice simple acts of kindness.
