Watch: Telangana Man Dies After Filming Reel with Cobra in His Mouth, Dies After Being Bitten

20-Year-Old Telangana Man Dies After Putting Cobra's Head in Mouth for Stunt Video
In a tragic incident from Telangana’s Kamareddy district, a 20-year-old man lost his life after being bitten by a cobra while attempting a dangerous stunt. The man, identified as Shivaraj, was recording the stunt to share in WhatsApp groups. The disturbing video, which has since surfaced on social media, shows Shivaraj placing the snake’s head inside his mouth before the fatal bite occurred.
The video captures Shivaraj standing on a road, holding the cobra and inserting its head into his mouth. He gestures toward the camera, even folding his hands and running his fingers through his hair, all while the snake tries to free itself. The video ends with Shivaraj giving a thumbs-up, unaware of the impending danger. Shortly after, the cobra bit him, leading to his death.
According to local reports, Shivaraj and his father, who made a living by catching and killing snakes, had captured the cobra. His father had asked him to make a video of the reptile for sharing on WhatsApp groups. Unfortunately, the stunt turned fatal when the snake retaliated with a bite.
Social Media Outrage
The video has sparked outrage across social media platforms, with many users questioning the reasoning behind the reckless act. One user commented, “This is so scary, but why would he do that?” Another expressed their sadness over the incident, saying, “RIP. I wish it weren’t like that, but doing these things for reels always proves fatal.”
This tragic incident highlights the dangers of performing stunts for social media, a trend that has claimed lives in recent times. In another fatal incident in Karnataka’s Vijayapura district, four people lost their lives when a motorcycle stunt went wrong. Two individuals performing tricks on a bike lost control, leading to a crash that resulted in the death of four people, including two bystanders.
The rise in such dangerous stunts for social media content continues to raise concerns, as authorities and users alike call for more caution and responsibility.
