Mumbai – A shocking incident in Andheri East was captured on CCTV, showing a security guard being brutally assaulted after defending himself from a pack of street dogs. The incident took place at Vastu Riddhi Apartments on March 5 at 11:36 PM.
The footage reveals the watchman using a stick to ward off aggressive dogs when a young man, allegedly a dog lover, intervened and attacked him instead of offering help. The altercation escalated as the man pinned the watchman to the ground while the dogs remained nearby.

Residents, upon noticing the commotion, stepped in to assist the injured guard and attempted to drive away the dogs. A video of the bleeding watchman later surfaced on social media, with claims that his injuries were caused by dog bites. However, the footage does not clearly establish whether the wounds resulted from the dogs or the attack.

Mumbai Police Responds
As the video gained traction online, Mumbai Police acknowledged it on X (formerly Twitter) and urged the victim to file a complaint at the nearest police station. However, as of now, no official action has been reported.
