Women’s toilet near Samvidhan chowk remains inaccessible
The only women’s toilet near Samvidhan chowk installed in a unused PMPML bus has been lying closed for the last two weeks. It was installed over three years ago and proved convenient for women to use. But for the last 15 days it has been lying closed.
When Pune Pulse enquired about the same, it revealed that the toilet has no water connection as a drunkard broke the water pipeline around the bus.
When questioned to the Health inspector of Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office said that the water connection was broken by a drunkard. Since then the toilet has not been in use. The concerned department shall be alerted about restoring the connection.
