MLA Mahesh Landge has been that pillar of strength for workers over the past decade, securing justice and addressing their grievances. This was the collective resolve expressed during a workers’ convention, where unions declared their unanimous support for MLA Mahesh Landge’s third-term victory.

The event, held at Sadhuram Garden, Moshi, saw organized and unorganized workers from Bhosari constituency pledge their backing to Landge. The workers highlighted the challenges they face, including neglect by established systems that have long kept labor policies weak. However, with the BJP-led government, a new focus on labor welfare has emerged.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, initiatives like the Vishwakarma Scheme have been introduced, offering skill development and stipends to workers. Similarly, the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana provides pensions of ₹3,000 per month to unorganized workers such as construction laborers, domestic helpers, and security guards upon reaching the age of 60. These initiatives underline the government’s commitment to holistic labor welfare.

The workers unanimously resolved that a government prioritizing such policies needs representatives like Mahesh Landge in the legislature. They affirmed their determination to support his re-election as the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance candidate.

Irfan Syed, Deputy Leader, Shiv Sena: “The BJP and Shiv Sena’s pro-worker policies have been transformative. Initiatives like skill development programs have brought unorganized laborers into the mainstream. Workers stand united to ensure MLA Mahesh Landge’s victory, securing his place in the legislature once again. On November 20, we call on all workers to vote for him, as his next five years will further strengthen worker welfare.”

Mahesh Landge, MLA and Candidate, Bhosari Assembly:
“I urge workers to recall the efforts we’ve made over the past decade and share them with others. Just two hours of your time until November 20, to mobilize 25 people in support, can make all the difference. I promise to stand firmly by the workers for the next five years, ensuring their rights and welfare remain a priority.”
