Workshop on National Pension System (NPS) held in Pune to spread awareness among subscribers
National Pension System (NPS) Workshop was held in Pune on 09.06.2023 at 11am at Swaraj Hall in the office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (SC), Pune.
The workshop was conducted as per the order of CGDA HQrs Office, New Delhi and directives issued by In charge Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, Honorable Dr. Rajeev S Chavan, ndc, IDAS for Sensitizing, Creating Awareness for the NPS subscribers.Â
Inauguration of the program was done in NAKARA premises by lightening the Lamp by IDAS Officers and invited guest of honor. To begin with, program was inaugurated in the hands of BS Kamble, IDAS, Jt.CDA amidst the presence of other officers including the visiting dignitary Shri. Vishal Masurkar, Manager Protean (NSDL e-GOV).
The prime purpose and objective of organizing this workshop for NPS subscribers of 58 PAOS, 425 DDOs, is to create awareness and sensitize them about the basics of NPS. Approx 200 NPS subscribers were physically present in the workshop and approx 234 attended the program through Video Conferencing. Shri. B S Kamble, IDAS, Joint Controller of Defence Accounts appraised everyone about the purpose and importance of this program.
Vishal Masurkar, Manager Protean (NSDL e GOV) gave detailed information about NPS through a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation.
The information was given about the duties and responsibilities of the beneficiaries as well as Nodal Offices and all the pension management agencies, along-with the role of the NSDL (Protean) in the National Pension System. Moreover, open house questionnaire session for assisting the Nodal Office in system level functionalities, queries from Nodal officials and NPS subscribers was also an integral part of the session which was welcomed by all from every quarter of the country.
Madhu Gandhi, Senior Accounts Officer concluded the program at 01.30 pm by proposing vote of thanks to the CGDA HQrs Office, the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (SC)Pune, Guest Speaker, Participants and organizer for making the program uÇcessful and eventful to cherish.
