As of March 1, 2024, significant changes are slated to take effect across various sectors, including GST, FASTag, banking services, and social media platforms. 

LPG Prices : Expectations are rife that the cost of commercial LPG cylinders will surge. In major cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Chennai, the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinders are projected to reach 1053, 1055.50, 1052.50, and 1068.50, respectively.

Bank Holiday Schedule: With March ushering in a string of festivals, banks will observe 14 holidays, encompassing Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays. However, the closure of banks will not be uniform across all states, as holiday schedules will be tailored according to specific regional festivities.

FASTag Upgrades: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has set February 29, 2024, as the deadline for FASTag users to complete their KYC upgrades.

Social Media Reforms: Social media giants like Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) have introduced enhancements to their platforms. Articles disseminating inaccurate information may now face penalties in line with these revisions.

GST Amendments: Beginning March 1, 2024, businesses with annual turnovers exceeding 5 crores will be mandated to generate e-invoices via the e-voice system, eliminating the option for traditional e-bills.

State Bank of India Initiatives: The State Bank of India will roll out changes in its credit card billing process, including the introduction of minimum-day billing calculations, slated to take effect in March.
