In a shocking revelation, it has come to fore that several schools, starting from the academic year 2024-2025, are operating without possessing government authorization in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits. As per information, 12 schools have been identified so far and closure notices have been sent to them. 

Despite this, these schools are still operating without proper authorization. The PCMC’s education department has requested parents to not enroll their kids in these schools: People Tree Education Trust in Gandhinagar, Pimpale Nilakh, Chaitanya English Medium School in Vishal Nagar, Ideal English School in Javalkar Nagar in Pimple Gurav, Stardom English Medium School in Charholi, Little Star English Medium School in Chinchwade Nagar, Walhekarwadi Laxmi Nagar’s Navjit Vidyalaya, Kidszee school from Pimple Saudagar, Sangvi’s M S School For Kids, Chinchwad’s Crystal Modern School and Orchid International School, from Kasarwadi Mount Everest English School and DMK English School.

Parents should not enroll their children in schools that are run without proper authorization. The primary education department has warned that parents themselves will be responsible for the educational loss of their children if they enroll in these unauthorized schools.

School administrators should start schools only after obtaining government permission. Sangeeta Bangar, PCMC’s education officer has informed that according to the government decision issued by the School Education and Sports Department of the Maharashtra Government, appropriate legal action will be taken against them if they start or continue the school illegally.
