214 out of 200 marks for Talathi aspirant; Vijay Wadettiwar demands SIT probe
A Talathi applicant who received 214 out of 200 marks in the Talathi recruitment exam has exposed an irregularity related to the exam in Maharashtra. Because of this, Vijay Wadettiwar, the leader of the opposition in the state legislative assembly, has requested an investigation by a special investigation team (SIT).
He argues that a candidate who scored 214 in the Talathi exam received only 54 in another exam for the position of forest guard.
As per further information from the X handle of Vijay Wadettiwar “Talathi Recruitment Exam is a big scam. We demand an SIT probe into this entire scam. If a candidate is getting 214 out of 200 marks, it is now clear how seriously the entire examination system is working and how the concerned persons have rigged the recruitment.”
The X handle of Spardha Pariksha Samanway Samiti, Maharashtra State had posted on X on 6th Jan “54 Marks in Forest Guard exam and 214 Marks out of 200 in Talathi Recruitment Exam. From this, it is understood how the exams were conducted and how the marks were given. All the selected children should be interrogated by a judicial SIT and everyone should know the exam centers from which they have given the exam. This is the biggest scam in Talathi exams till date.”
Netizens have actively responded to the incident.
An X user tweets “The only solution to this is to empower the Maharashtra Public Service Commission first and pass a law to conduct all examinations through the Commission.”
An X user tweeted “Enquiry must be done but give the exam responsibility to MPSC as the current exam holder may produce fake answer sheets. Only then, the honest & deserving candidates will be recruited. Government and opposition leaders are responsible for this.”
