5,000 special buses to run during Pandharpur Ashadhi Yatra : CM Eknath Shinde

Mumbai May 15 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday directed the State Transport Corporation to release 5,000 special buses from across the state for pilgrims for the Pandharpur Yatra on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi.

These special buses will run between 25th June to 05th July and 200 additional buses have been made available for Mauli’s Ringan Sohala (on 27 June) at Warkari ( Devotees). 

The CM reviewed the planning done by ST for bus service for Pandharpur Ashadhi Yatra. Managing Director of State Transport Corporation Shekhar Channe along with the officers of the Corporation were present.

Buses will operate in six regions including Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amravati for the Ashadhi Yatra.

Four temporary bus stations would be set up at Chandrabhaga, Bhima, Pandurang (ITI College) and Vitthal Karkhana.
