6th Kharadi Premier League begins on December 19
The 6th edition of Kharadi Premier League inter society cricket tournament commenced today.
It is organised by Kharadi Residents association. The pooja of the pitch and ground was performed MLA Sunil Tingre. The inauguration of the matches was done at the hands of Ex.MLA Bapusaheb Pathare and Corporator Mahendra Pathare.
On the occasion were present President Kharadi Residents association, Nitin Memane, Secretary Mehazabin Saiyed, Narauttam Das and Mangesh Phanse.
The tournament is an yearly event and most awaited affair for the association. 24 gents teams,12 ladies and 16 under 14 boys teams took part in event.
The event commenced today and the finals will be held on 27 February. Tournament is conducted only on weekends to accomodate the IT professionals living in the area.
