Started his own company in 2012
From earning money by renting comics to setting up his own company in Indore IT Park, Saket Dandotia has always demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills. Despite scoring low marks in class 12 and not making it to IIT-JEE, he did not give up. He studied engineering from MITS Indore. After working in a software firm, Saket left the job to start his own company Linkites in 2012.
Company began with just 6 employees
Initially started with just 6 employees, Linkites grew rapidly. Reached 150 employees within just 3 years. It became the 5th company to mark its presence in Indore IT Park. Saket set up an office of 12,000 square feet. Despite difficulties and initial rejections, Saket did not give up.
Linkites expanded worldwide. Established offices in Singapore, US, Japan and India. Employed more than 800 staffers.
Gives success credit to mother and wife
Saket attributes his success to the unwavering support of his mother and wife, who supported him at every step. In 2016, he launched another startup Videoverse. It raised over $80 million before his exit in 2023. After this, Saket started his new venture OneTab.
Keeping connection with roots
Saket is committed to bringing the technical talent of Indore to the global platform. He has remained connected to his roots by keeping his development team in Indore. His total wealth is around Rs 600 crore.
