Two arrested for stealing high-end bicycles from Pune for joyride; 30 seized

In Pune, not just one but a whopping 30 bicycles were swiped for joyrides. The Warje police nabbed two thieves involved in the bicycle theft.
Shivshankar Jadhav and Abhishek Jadhav are the names of the apprehended suspects. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam revealed that numerous bicycle thefts occurred in upscale neighbourhoods like Kothrud, Karve Nagar, and Warje in Pune. A case was filed at the Warje police station regarding these incidents.
Upon investigation, following technical analysis, and receiving intel about two youths engaging in these activities in Pune, the police successfully apprehended both individuals.
The arrested culprits, Shivshankar Jadhav and Abhishek Jadhav, were caught red-handed by the Warje police. DCP Sambhaji Kadam revealed that numerous high-end bicycles were stolen from posh neighborhoods like Kothrud, Karve Nagar, and Warje in Pune. The police initiated an investigation after registering a case at the Warje police station.
During the probe, the police employed technical analysis, leading to the apprehension of the two youths engaged in these unlawful activities in Pune. Their modus operandi involved snatching bicycles from upscale societies, joyriding them, and later abandoning them to hunt for new targets. The police have already confiscated around 30 costly bicycles worth lakhs of rupees from the duo. Authorities are now delving into whether they have committed similar thefts in other areas, a matter currently under police scrutiny.
