The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has come under scrutiny over waste management projects awarded to Bhumi Green. This organization was given a contract for waste processing at locations like Hadapsar and Devachi Uruli. However, Bhumi Green has been accused of submitting false affidavits for the 75-metric-ton project at Handewadi.

Bhumi Green has challenged PMC in court over these allegations. Despite evidence showing that Bhumi Green provided misleading bid capacity documents for the 75-metric-ton project at Ramtekdi, PMC has not taken legal action against the company. There are claims that both current and former PMC officials, as well as influential politicians in Pune and Mumbai, are exerting pressure to protect Bhumi Green.

The issue of submitting false documents to win contracts is serious and could be classified as a criminal offence. There are calls for PMC to blacklist Bhumi Green to prevent future misconduct.

The demand is for a thorough audit of all work done by Bhumi Green for PMC, conducted by high-ranking state officials. The goal is to ensure strict action is taken to deter any future attempts at fraudulent bidding. There is a warning that if prompt action is not taken, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena plans to initiate a strong protest.
