Pune Airport currently operates two international flights, with two more set to be added soon. After flights to Singapore and Dubai, a new direct service to Bangkok will begin shortly. However, despite efforts over the past year, cargo import services at the airport are yet to commence due to a lack of response from transporters and airlines.

While domestic cargo transport from Pune Airport has been receiving good support, and goods are being exported to Singapore and Dubai, cargo import services have not started. The airport administration has made all the necessary preparations, including setting up a strong room and arrangements for dangerous goods (DG). Although two companies have shown interest, cargo import services are still not operational.
