A driverless car engulfed in flames caused panic on an elevated road in Jaipur, racing downhill on Ajmer Road toward Sudarshanpura Pulia before crashing into a parked bike and halting at a road divider. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the chaotic scene on Saturday.

The car, driven by a resident of Divya Darshan Apartment in Mansarovar, burst into flames after he stepped out to investigate smoke coming from the engine. Despite his quick action, the fire rapidly spread, damaging the handbrake, and causing the car to roll down the slope without a driver. The burning vehicle collided with a parked bike before crashing into the divider, leaving motorists scrambling to save their vehicles.
Videos of the incident, which quickly went viral on social media, show motorcyclists abandoning their bikes and rushing for safety as the flaming car approached. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with people frantically trying to avoid the out-of-control vehicle.
Local police confirmed that the car was descending the elevated road when he noticed smoke coming from the air conditioning unit. After stepping out to inspect the issue, he discovered the engine had caught fire. The fire department responded swiftly, but by the time the flames were extinguished, the car was completely gutted.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, but the incident has raised concerns about safety on elevated roads and the risks posed by vehicle malfunctions.
