In an effort to increase employee productivity, a company based in Chennai has implemented a distinctive reward system. Team Detailing Solutions, a structural steel design and detailing firm, has gifted 28 cars and 29 bikes to its employees.

The employees received a range of brand new cars from popular brands like Hyundai, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and even Mercedes Benz, as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication, according to an official statement. Sridhar Kannan, the Managing Director of the company, expressed, “We wanted to show our appreciation for their tireless efforts in driving the company’s success. We believe our employees are our greatest assets.”

The company takes pride in recognizing the achievements of its employees and evaluating their contributions based on performance and years of service. “Our employees have shown exceptional commitment and dedication, and we are proud to acknowledge their accomplishments,” Kannan stated.

Speaking to reporters, he mentioned that the company employs around 180 people, many of whom come from humble backgrounds but possess high skill levels. “We choose candidates who are highly motivated, and for them, owning a car or a bike is like a dream. We have been giving bikes to employees, and in 2022, we gifted a car to two of our senior colleagues. Today, we gifted 28 cars, including models from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Mercedes Benz,” he added.

In response to a question, Kannan explained that the company offers cars or bikes with a specified ceiling amount. If an employee wishes to choose a more expensive vehicle than what the company provides, they must cover the difference in cost.

In addition to gifting vehicles, the company also supports employees with marriage assistance. “For colleagues getting married, we previously provided ₹50,000, but we’ve now increased that to ₹1 lakh starting this year,” he stated.

Kannan expressed that these gestures are intended to enhance morale, motivation, and productivity. “We take pride in recognizing our employees’ efforts and will continue to focus on their development and customer satisfaction,” he concluded.
